The Legends League Cricket is good to go to start off with a savage fight between previous India openers when India Capitals’ Gautam Gambhir and Gujarat Giant’s Virender Sehwag will face each other to start the 20 days in length Association beginning from September 16 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The activity will move to Lucknow next, where in Harbhajan Singh’s Manipal Tigers will take on Irfan Pathan’s Bhilwara Kings on September 18.
The Legends League Cricket will kick-start on September 16, 2022, in Kolkata, India with some of the greatest cricket legends around the world. The event consists of 5 teams, with each team consisting of 11 players per side and one coach. Gujarat Giants will clash against India Capitals in the first match of the league as part of the tournament to be played across Eden Gardens in Kolkata, LLC from September 16 to October 5, 2022.
The Teams
The team that finishes fourth after the league stage will be eliminated.
The fans will have an opportunity to watch mouth-watering clashes like Chris Gayle vs Harbhajan Singh, Mitchell Johnson vs Virender Sehwag, and Shane Watson vs Muttiah Muralitharan among others.
Kick-off at 7:30 pm except for the match between India Capitals and Gujarat Giants in New Delhi on September 25 which will have a 4 PM start along with Qualifier 1
The event takes place across five venues – Kolkata, Lucknow, New Delhi, Cuttack, and Jodhpur.
The Final
The top two following the league stage finish at the end of the Qualifier at the Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur on October 2, they will automatically advance to the final that will be played on October 5 at the Dehradun Cricket Ground.
