As you know Corona Pandemic had not only affected human life but it has brought forward various challenges or shortfalls in the administration of different organizations including the education sector especially schools under the higher secondary category.
These days schools are finding it difficult to interact with students and their parents directly due to incompatible software installed on their premises. This software is not capable of real-time connectivity and information dissemination. Due to this shortfall, today School management could not hold up their students from shifting to available digital education tutorials through apps like BYJU’s and Unacademy Plus.
However, Schools adopted video conferencing apps like Zoom or JioMeet to meet connectivity with their peer students instead of improving their technology like real time management solution provided by our Startup “EasyEduLab”. Further their teachers are also not finding it comfortable to communicate with the students in efficient manner, probably they are just saving their jobs while fulling management demands.
In addition there are schools, who could not even afford to manage their premises through such apps especially in remote/rural areas where digital penetration is another big problem.
Reality
But the fact of situation is students belonging to low income group and middle class are facing challenges to cover up the courses and also lying on verge of loosing one crucial year of their life mainly Class 10th and 12th standard students. These group of students had planned to appear for board exams and to pursue higher education thereafter but in the current scenario this seems impossible to save the academic year.
In this context, Government of India and Education institutions like CBSE has recently rationalized the syllabus for board exams but still the schools/colleges/tuition centers remain closed till further direction. Hence, accessibility of course materials and training are under question to be completed on time before board exams.
